Rep. Weiner says online contact with teen not indecent
(AP) - U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who has beenunder fire after admitting to sending graphic photos to womenonline, has acknowledged he had online contact with a 17-year-oldgirl but said the communications were "neither explicit norindecent." FoxNews.com reported that New Castle County police officers wentto a high school junior's home Friday afternoon to speak with thegirl's mother about the teen's contact with the New York Democrat.A FoxNews.com reporter was at the home when police arrived. A Weiner spokeswoman issued a one-sentence statement Fridaynight that said, "According to Congressman Weiner, hiscommunications with this person were neither explicit norindecent." Weiner, a seven-term Democrat, has admitted sending sexuallyexplicit messages over the Internet to a half-dozen women over thepast three years. House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi has askedfor an ethics investigation.
