Police release video of brazen Grand Concourse robbery

Police have released surveillance video that shows a brazen robbery on the Grand Concourse and they're hoping someone will recognize the suspect.

Investigators say the victim was walking out of a lobby near 183rd Street at around 7 a.m. back on May 16 when the suspect pushed her up against a wall. He threatened the 36-year-old woman with a box cutter before fleeing on foot with her cash, police say.

Detectives describe the robber as a dark-skinned Hispanic male that's about 5'10" tall and is bald.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
