Residents tickle the ivories again in Norwood Park

Bronx music lovers are back to hitting the keys after a local resident donated a new piano to a non-profit that got its stolen from a park.

Sing for Hope had placed a wooden 500-pound piano in Norwood Park for the public to enjoy. It was last seen in the park around 6:30 p.m. Sunday and is believed stolen, according to a Parks Department spokesman.

A resident heard about the stolen piano from News 12 and decided to donate one of his own. The new piano will be painted by local residents and then donated to a Bronx charter school.
