Tenants call for security cameras at Moore Houses

Tenants in the Moore Houses are calling on the Housing Authority to install security cameras, but say the city is refusing due to budget cuts and money constraints.

Tenants are calling for the cameras after a 26-year-old man was shot and killed in the building's elevator. The man's mother says if cameras were installed, police could have a better chance at finding his killer.

Many residents say they don't feel safe living in the Moore Houses because of all the crime surrounding the building.

The Housing Authority says while it can't install cameras now, it did fix a broken intercom system yesterday.
