Bronx father sounding alarm over dangerous apartment building

A Bronx father says the building his son fell out of three years ago is still as unsafe as it was back then.

Michael Ackom's son, Jeremiah, crawled out onto the fire escape at 250 East 176th St. and fell onto the pavement as a toddler. While Jeremiah has fully recovered, Ackom says management has done nothing to make the building safer.

According to the Department of Housing and Preservation, the group performed nearly $10,000 in emergency repair work. Some of the work involved installing window guards.

The agency says the landlord has not made any repairs of his own.
