BX residents protest state budget cuts in Albany
Dozens of Bronx residents were in the state's capital today protesting massive budget cuts that could affect many New Yorkers.
Nearly 1,000 New York parents and education advocates headed up to Albany to voice their concerns over proposed cuts to education funding. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's (D-N.Y.) nearly $133 billion budget calls for about 2.7 percent in spending cuts.
The budget is due April 1.
