Police search for man who attacked boy on school bus

Police are seeking the public's help finding the man who jumped on a school bus last week and beat an 11-year-old boy.

According to the victim, Jameel Grant, a student on his bus started cursing out the window at a man walking down the street Friday.Jameel says the man opened the back emergency door and jumped on the bus, which was full of special-needs children.

He says the man ran down the aisle and punched him five times in the face, leaving him with a head injury, bloody nose and black eye. His mother, Brunilda Canales, says that the bus came to a stop and the man got away.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.
