2 Bronx food pantries in danger of being shuttered

Two Bronx food pantries could be shuttered by next week.

The executive director of the Muslim Woman's Institute for Research and Development, which operates the pantries in Highbridge and Parkchester, says the group no longer has enough money to pay staffers at each site.

The group is trying to raise $4,000 by the end of the week to keep the pantries open.
