Bronx hit with another round of winter weather

Snow early this morning has turned to freezing rain, creating a slippery, slushy commute for Bronx residents who dared to venture outside.

Bundled-up commuters outside Hunts Point train station say mass transit is the best way to get around if weather conditions worsen.

Some residents say it would take more than a little snow and rain to keep them indoors.

"I don't think it's any big deal," says Anthony Burton. "We've had heavier snowstorms in the past."

People who are planning to head outside today are advised to wear layers against the bitter cold and durable boots.
