City sees record tourism for 2010
New York City saw a record 48.7 million tourists in 2010, with many of them traveling to local sites in the Bronx.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg says tourism increased nearly 7 percent compared to 2009.
Among the most popular attractions in the borough were the Bronx Zoo and the busy Arthur Avenue market.
Bloomberg says his goal is to reach 50 million visitors in 2012.
