Empty BX lot cleaned up following claims of prostitution

A vacant lot near a West Farms elementary school is getting cleaned up after residents complained of illegal and dangerous activity occurring.

Residents say the lot located next to P.S. 6 on Boston Road became a hotbed for prostitution and drug use.

The outrage over the lot erupted at a rally outside P.S. 6 this afternoon, where community leaders, parents, and state Sen. Ruben Diaz (D-32 District) vowed to drive the prostitutes away from the school and community.
