Man finds confidential school records on Bronx street

A Bronx man says he came across boxes on the street containing confidential student information today.

Richard Gabrielle Rodriguez says he found the boxes on the corner of Vyse Avenue and Boston Road while he was on the way to the drug store.

Rodriguez says the records pertain to students at the Helen Keller School in Co-op City and contain addresses, phone numbers, birthdays and pictures.

?I'm worried because I'm a parent,? Rodriguez says. ?A pedophile finds these, he's got numbers, pictures of kids, who knows what could happen."

News 12 The Bronx has yet to receive a response from the Department of Education.
