BX woman released on $100K bail in illegal-injections case

The woman accused of giving illegal injections out of her Mount Eden home has been released on $100,000 bail.

Police arrested 36-year-old Whalesca Castillo on Friday for allegedly giving silicone-like butt and breast enhancements from her house at 1333 Inwood Ave.

The FBI says Castillo had been charging upwards of $1,000 to customers for the injections since 2009. They believe she was having the substance shipped from the Dominican Republic.

FBI officials are urging anyone who thinks they may have been a victim of Castillo to come forward and call 212-384-2400.

Castillo's next court date has not yet been set.
