Bronx residents deal with bitterly cold temps

Residents were dealing with the coldest temperatures to hit the Bronx in six years today.

The temperature is expected to be in the single digits across much of the borough overnight and winds will make it feel much colder.

Doctors at St. Barnabus Hospital say to wear extra layers and make sure the ears, nose and fingertips are covered, which are easily prone to frostbite.

The city is urging residents to stay inside as much as they can.
