Drivers, residents stuck in snow

After a snowstorm that dropped nearly two feet in the Bronx, officials are asking residents to be careful if they must travel.

Crews are out plowing and salting the roads, but will clear highways and major thoroughfares before tackling secondary and side streets.

Throughout the Bronx, drivers and buses were getting stuck on streets. Many residents decided to walk to their destination rather than dig out their cars.In response to the snow, Mayor Michael Bloomberg issued a weather emergency to allow the city to better react to the storm.
