FBI arrests 11, 7 from the Bronx, in alleged Bronx drug ring
Eleven people, including seven from the Bronx, were arrested by the FBI for their roles in an alleged drug ring in the Bronx.
Police say the drug ring spanned from the Bronx to Albany County. Local police helped the FBI search 24 places in total, including three auto body shops in the Bronx. On Edison Avenue, the home of one of the suspects was searched.
The FBI says it found more than five kilograms of cocaine, 40 pounds of marijuana, $800,000 in cash and eight guns.
All 11 suspects were charged with conspiring to distribute and possession with intent to distribute five or more kilograms of cocaine.
