Police are seeking the public's assistance in seeking the person suspected of sexual assault and robbery in Mount Eden.

The incident occurred last Friday at around 6:30 a.m. at the corner of Walton Avenue and East 168th Street, one block away from the NYPD's 44th Precinct.

Police say a Hispanic man in his 20s walked into a nearby apartment building, following a 61-year-old woman. They say the man can be seen in surveillance video following, sexually assaulting and robbing her.

The suspect can be seen with a ponytail and was wearing a Chicago White Sox hat.
