A strip club in the Bronx has recently reopened and reinvented itself.
Platinum Pleasures, a strip club that was known for gun battles, stabbings and serving liquor without a license, has opened once again, this time as a topless juice bar.
The previous owner says the new owner bought out the remaining five-year lease along with its showers and stripper polls.
A Hunts Point church was hoping to move in to the facility, but because of a lack of money, it never happened.
Community Board 2, which represents the area, says it hopes crime does not spike again with the club back open.
