Many Bronx residents and local leaders came together for an interfaith celebration for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

They gathered at Trinity Baptist Church in Wakefield to reflect on race relations and celebrate the accomplishments of the civil rights leader. 

Elected officials said the country has come a long way, but still has a long way to go from here. They say there is still a lot of work to do in the city, the state and across the nation to combat racism.

A new Sienna Poll found that two-thirds of all New Yorkers believe race relations are "fair or poor," which is an increase from about half of those polled last year.
