Rite Aid manager slashed on the job

Police are searching for the man who slashed a Rite Aid manager right in front of customers.

Investigators say the suspect demanded money at the Westchester Avenue store at around 2 p.m. Thursday. When the manager refused, the suspect slashed him.

The 47-year-old victim is now in stable condition at Lincoln Hospital.

Rite Aid is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone who may know something is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
