On this Christmas Eve, it's coming down to the wire for anyone still looking to finish their holiday shopping.

Plenty of participating stores like Macy's, Kmart and Toys 'R Us have kept their doors open around the clock for days to cater to last-minute shoppers. Most stores have normal business hours today, but some like Kmart will stay open until 10 p.m. And Toys 'R Us will remain open until 9 p.m.

With many people hosting parties this holiday, grocery stores will be also participating in extended hours in anticipation of large crowds.

Many last-minute shoppers told News 12 The Bronx that doing their holiday shopping early in the morning on Christmas Eve is actually much easier because of short lines.
