Word on the Street: Holiday meal preparation
A survey from the food company Del Monte finds New Yorkers come in at No. 11 in the country based on how long it takes to prepare a festive feast.
On average, New Yorkers say it takes them just under six hours to prepare a holiday meal.
According to the survey, Mississippi spends the most time preparing their meals, at over seven hours on average. Kentucky came in at No. 2, followed by Alabama, Georgia and Texas.
