Good news for shoppers who are still are still searching for holiday gifts. Starting today, some major retailers are extending their hours, some will even remain open around the clock until Christmas Eve.

Kmart, Macy's and Kohl's are just some of the retailers that will be open 24 hours until Christmas Eve. Today the Toys 'R Us on White Plains Road in the Bronx will have extended hours, but starting tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. they will also be open 24 hours until Christmas Eve to ensure shoppers can get all their holiday gifts.

Stores such as Target and JCPenney will also have extended hours to cater to last-minute shoppers.

News 12 is told most stores will not be open on Christmas Day, and every store varies on what time they will be closing on Christmas Eve.
