Bronx kids decorate botanical garden tree

A group of Bronx kids helped the New York Botanical Garden get into the holiday spirit.
Students from P.S. 246 were selected by Councilman Fernando Cabrera to decorate a holiday tree at the garden after creating their own ornaments.
The second- and fourth-graders were only the latest kids to visit. Every year, the garden installs up to 12 evergreen trees and invites kids from local schools to deck them out.
Students from the three schools with the best decorations will be rewarded with tickets to come back and see the holiday train show in January.
