Bronx GOP hosts Winter Wonderland toy giveaway

The Bronx Republican Party is paying it forward to the neighborhood that supports them throughout the year by providing children with holiday gifts.

The second annual Winter Wonderland was held at the Bronx Republican headquarters in Pelham Bay. It's organized in conjunction with the Pelham Bay Merchants Association.

Gifts ranging from baby dolls to basketballs were handed to everyone from newborns to teenagers. Churches even brought buses full of kids from different areas of the Bronx.

Organizers say giving back to the community is vital, and it warms their hearts to see kids so happy.

The toys left over will go to orphanages throughout the borough.
