A man is dead after being shot in the chest early Sunday morning.
Police say the victim was found lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive at around 4:40 a.m. on East Burnside Avenue.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital and pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
