A bullet became lodged in a man's wallet during a shooting Wednesday in Coram, police say.

Officials say the man was sitting in a car at the Homestead Village Apartment Complex when someone shot at him multiple times.

Police say one of the bullets hit the man's wallet, which was in his pocket and the bullet became lodged in it.

The man was not injured.

Police are still searching for the shooter.
